Cross-cutting these three global public goods, AFD will support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in order to give economic actors incentives to improve their social and environmental performance beyond regulatory requirements..
AFD can provide sovereign financing (loans to the State or with a State guarantee) or non-sovereign financing (local authorities, public or private enterprises) through long-term loans (directly or through the banking system) including a grace period, guarantees or equity financing.
PROPARCO, AFD’s subsidiary dedicated to the private sector, can also provide a full range of financial products to private companies.
